HISTORY

IsleStart Ltd was formed in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic to work alongside Winford Micro Design Ltd t/as Careprint to offer a number of short-term employment opportunities to local unemployed youngsters aged 18-24 on the Isle of Wight, as part of the Government/DWP Kickstarter Scheme. 

Under the expert guidance of a former department head at a specialist sixth form college in Alton, who came to us with 30+ years of experience working with disabled children, we initially offered experience in design before expanding to become a fully fledged production unit.

One of our KickStarters is now working with us full-time as our production administrator, and is a highly valued and excellent member of our team.

Careprint has been trading since 1987 and became part of IsleStart Ltd as part of a post-covid re-organisation, eventually centralising it's operation on the Isle of Wight in November 2024.
